Eveliens Lab values the protection of personal data. In this Privacy Policy we want to inform you in a clear and transparent manner on how we handle personal data.

We do everything we can to protect your privacy and therefore we handle personal data carefully. Eveliens Lab complies in all cases with applicable legislation, among which the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) in the European Union. This means that we:

  • Process your personal data in accordance with the purpose with which you provided them to us. These purposes and the types of personal data that are processed for each purpose are described in this Privacy Policy;
  • The processing of your personal data is limited to the data that are minimally required for the purposes they are processed for;
  • Ask for your express consent if we need to for the processing of your personal data;
  • Have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to secure the protection of your personal data;
  • Will not give your personal data to third parties, unless this is necessary for the execution of the purpose for which these data are provided;

Processing personal data of customers or suppliers

Eveliens Lab processes personal data of customers or suppliers for the following purposes:

  • Administrative purposes;
  • Communication about the order and/or invitations;
  • Implementing or issuing an order.

The foundation for these personal data is:

  • The agreed order;

For the abovementioned purposes Eveliens Lab can request the following personal data:

  • First name;
  • Name insertion;
  • Surname;
  • Country;
  • Province/State;
  • City;
  • Street name + house number;
  • (Business) Telephone number;
  • (Business) E-mail address.

Eveliens Lab stores your personal data for the abovementioned processing(s) for the following duration:

  • In case you live in the Netherlands or outside of the EU: for the duration of the agreement. After the agreement the personal data is stored only in the financial administration for a maximum of 7 years.
  • In case you live in the EU but not in the Netherlands: for the duration of the agreement. After the agreeement the personal data is stored only in the financial administration for a maximum of 10 years. 

 

Processing of personal data from newsletter subscribers

Personal data of newsletter subscribers are processed for the following purpose:

  • Informing the person through news messages.

The foundation for these personal data is:

  • The newsletter subscription form;

For the abovementioned purpose Eveliens Lab can request the following personal data:

  • E-mail address.

Eveliens Lab stores your personal data for the abovementioned processing(s) for the following duration:

  • For the duration you are subscribed to the newsletter.

 

Processing of personal data from prospects, stakeholder/lobby contacts and/or interested parties

Eveliens Lab processes personal data from prospects, stakeholder/lobby contacts and/or interested parties for the following purpose(s): 

  • Information provision in the form of newsletters and/or targeted contact.

The foundation for these personal data is:

  • Oral permission, issuing of a business card and/or through connecting on LinkedIn;

For the abovementioned purpose(s) Eveliens Lab can request the following personal data:

  • First name;
  • Name insertion;
  • Surname;
  • Telephone number;
  • E-mail address.

Eveliens Lab stores your personal data for the abovementioned processing(s) for the following duration:

  • For the duration you are seen as a prospect, stakeholder/lobbycontact and/or interested party.

 

Provision to third parties

We can provide the data you give us to third parties in case this is necessary for the execution of the abovementioned purposes.

We use third parties for the following services:

  • Taking care of the financial administration;
  • Webhosting and e-mail services (SoHosted);
    • SoHosted refrains from accessing Eveliens Lab's personal e-mail and/or files and does not provide these to third parties, unless this is required by law or court order. SoHosted has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. SoHosted is obliged to observe secrecy on the grounds of our agreement.
  • Payment transactions.
    • Mollie: We use the platform Mollie for handling (part of the) payments in our webshop. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details, IP address and your payment details such as your bank account number or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Mollie preserves the right to use your data for improving their services. In this context they may share (anonymized) data with third parties. All abovementioned safeguards for protecting your personal data are also applicable to the parts of Mollies services for which they engage third parties. Mollie stores your data no longer than is allowed on the basis of the legal terms.
    • Paypal: We use the platform Paypal for handling (part of the) payments in our webshop. Paypal processes your name, address and residence details, telephone number, e-mail address and your payment details such as your bank account number or credit card number. Paypal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. Paypal preserves the right to use your data for improving their services or as permitted or required by law. In this context they may share (anonymized) data with third parties. In the case of a deferred payment, Paypal shares personal data and information regarding your financial position with credit reference or fraud agency. All abovementioned safeguards for protecting your personal data are also applicable to the parts of Paypal’s services for which they engage third parties. Paypal stores your data no longer than is allowed on the basis of the legal terms.

We never provide personal data to other parties with whom we do not have a processor agreement. With these parties (processors) we make the required agreements to secure the protection of your personal data. Furthermore, we will not provide the data given by you to other parties, unless this is legally required and permitted. For example, when the police requests (personal) data in the context of an investigation. In such a case we are required to cooperate and obligated to provide these data. We can also share personal data with third parties when you give us written permission to do so.

 

Cookies

Our website places cookies from the American company Google as part of the Analytics service. We use this service to receive information and reports on how visitors use our website. This processor may be required by appliccable laws and regulations to provide access to these data. We have not permitted Google to use the acquired analytics-information for other Google services.

 

Minors

Eveliens Lab does not intend to process personal data from minors (persons younger than age 16). Unfortunately, Eveliens Lab can not check whether a visitor is a minor. Therefore Eveliens Lab advises parents, caregivers or legal representatives to be involved in their children's online activities to prevent minors' data from being processed by Eveliens Lab.

 

Retention period

Eveliens Lab stores personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose(s) for which they are provided or than is required by law.

 

Security

We have taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized processing. For example, we have taken the following measures:

 

  • All persons that can access your data in behalf of Eveliens Lab are kept to the confidentiality thereof; 
  • We have a username and password policy on al our systems;
  • We pseudonimize and encrypt personal data if there is reason to;
  • We make backups of personal data in order to restore these in case of physical of technical incidents;
  • We regularly test and evaluate our measures;
  • Our staff members are informed on the importance of protection of personal data.

 

Rights concerning your data

You have the right of inspection, rectification or removal of the personal data you provided us with. You can also object to the processing of your personal data (or part thereof) by us or by one of our processors. You also have the right to let us transfer the personal data provided by you to yourself or, when commisioned by you, directly to another party. We can ask you to identify yourself by means of valid identification before we respond to the aforementioned requests. 

In case you give us permission to process your personal data, you remain the right to withdraw this permission.
 

Complaints

If you have a complaint on the processing of your personal data, we request you to contact us directly about it. If we can not find a solution together, then we are very sorry for that. You always remain the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (DPA). This is the supervisory authority on privacy protection.
